When you track performance, performance improves.”
It will improve for 2 main reasons.
1. Tracking what it is you are doing brings energy and focus to the task or skill you want to get better at, and as Tony Robbins says, “where focus goes, energy flows”.
2. It gives you a new baseline of where you are and allows you to aim for something to beat or assess on how to improve. For example, if you want to the gym and did squats with 100kg for 3 sets, 10 Reps and each set took you 90 seconds to complete you now have 4 areas in which you can aim to make an improvement, even if it’s only in one of them!
Whether it’s bike, swim or gym (I’m a poet and didn’t know it 😂) start tracking your performance and enjoy the process!
